President Roosevelt is very interested in the Flathead Bison Range Bill, which Senator Joseph M. Dixon of Montana has done a lot to advance. It has been made an amendment to the agricultural bill, and Roosevelt hopes that Representative Scott can help it pass. He invites Scott to stop in and see him if he has any doubts.

He asks why Scott contacted him about a bill that can only be amended in Congress. He has been meeting with Congressmen about the bill, but urges Scott to see the members of the committee himself.
