Remembering Alexander G. Russell’s kindness in getting an autograph from Theodore Roosevelt for the New Jersey Sunday School Association’s Junior Department, Josephine L. Baldwin writes to him inquiring if he might assist her in securing Theodore Roosevelt for a speaking engagement at the state convention of the New Jersey Sunday School Association. She previously heard him address the Religious Education Association on the importance of the care and training of the body and mind, alongside training in “subordination to God’s law.”
