Roosevelt, Theodore, 1858-1919
Theodore Roosevelt rejects Fremont Older’s idea of a joint debate as generally “absurd,” and states that the debate Older proposes is especially “ridiculous.” Roosevelt states that he has made his views clear in his book America and the World War and could not do or say more, other than state his views more strongly.
