Assistant Secretary of the Navy Roosevelt informs James Clark McGuire Secretary of the Navy Long does not need Roosevelt to go to Pittsburgh at this time. Roosevelt will ask McGuire to accompany him to Pittsburgh if and when it is advised he do so.
