Murphy, William J., 1856-1912

Theodore Roosevelt thanks William J. Lampton for his letter. Roosevelt claims he is “everlastingly sick” of “hyphenated Americans” (German-Americans, etc.) and wants to call himself an “American-American.” He intends to publish his articles in a book for seventy-five cents.
