Letter from Secretary of Theodore Roosevelt to Marshall J. Hapgood
On behalf of Theodore Roosevelt, his secretary confirms receipt of the letter by Marshall J. Hapgood and congratulates the families of the twelve babies born in Hapgood’s town. He did not receive the clippings Hapgood wanted Roosevelt to return, although he applauds his “very worthy action in opening accounts in the Savings Bank for the twelve babies.”
