Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to William D. DeWeese
President Roosevelt appreciates William D. DeWeese’s letter, but says that as an old hunter himself, DeWeese should understand when Roosevelt says that he prefers to hunt alone, and does not think that more than two rifles can hunt together. Roosevelt and his son Kermit “must” be the two rifles.
