Custodian of Public Buildings

Theodore Roosevelt introduces the Custodian of the Public Buildings in Washington to Minnie May Lenard, a well-esteemed telegraph operator in Oyster Bay. Lenard wants to visit several government buildings while visiting Washington, D.C. Roosevelt asks she be permitted to tour all public areas.
