Theodore Roosevelt will not bargain for anyone’s support in the presidential nomination or election. He does not want to be nominated unless Republicans believe it is essential for the country. Roosevelt hopes that everyone who is for “Americanism, Preparedness, and for International Duty” will unite behind a leader that treats everyone with fairness and justice.
