A petition has been filed in Nebraska to place Theodore Roosevelt’s name on the primary ballot for the Republican presidential nomination. To prevent President Taft’s renomination, Representative Norris requests that Roosevelt either openly declare his candidacy or ask for his name to be removed from the ballot so that Senator La Follette may represent progressive Republicans unopposed.
