Because Theodore Roosevelt accepted a copy of Abel Chapman’s book On Safari shortly before setting out on his own safari, Chapman now sends a copy of his book Unexplored Spain. Chapman was hesitant to send it because of negative reviews, but believes that the reviews come from people who are used to cities and not wild places.
