William Barclay Parsons explains the “rather peculiar” message he left Theodore Roosevelt. His friend and classmate Dr. Dunyan Liang was visiting and wanted to meet Roosevelt before he returned to China the next day. Parsons attempted to contact him but was unable to reach him to arrange a meeting.
