William Chauncy Langdon thanks Theodore Roosevelt for his recent letter expressing his interest in the Pageant and development of the town of Thetford, Vermont. He is sorry that Roosevelt interpreted his request as asking for a more elaborate letter, as that which Roosevelt was able to write was exactly what he hoped for, but asks if Roosevelt could send a slightly edited version for him to show the people of the town.
