Frederic Harrison thanks President Roosevelt for the inscribed series of his Address and State Papers, which Harrison says he and his family will treasure forever. Harrison has instructed Macmillan Company to send Roosevelt his latest book, Realities and Ideals, which he hopes contains ideas that Roosevelt will agree with. In particular, Harrison believes that what he has written on family is important.
