Lizzie Balmer Barnes invites President Roosevelt and Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt to Nantucket Island. Barnes and her husband, William Barnes, were disappointed that they could not entertain the Roosevelts in Albany, New York but hope that they will be able to find a chance to visit them in Nantucket.
