James Wolcott Wadsworth thanks President Roosevelt for his advice and encouragement. Wadsworth also discusses some of his plans and some of the matters that are requiring his current attention. He apologizes for being unable to accept Roosevelt’s invitation to come to Washington, D.C., but hopes to be able to make the trip when he has fewer work demands.
