Senator Lodge sends President Roosevelt a photograph of the equestrian statue of Bartolomeo Colleoni, a sculpture by Andrea del Verrocchio in Venice, which he thinks is the finest sculptural representation of a man on horseback. He wishes Roosevelt a merry Christmas and happy New Year.
