Booker T. Washington writes to President Roosevelt including a newspaper clipping from the Montgomery Daily Advertiser. Washington notes that the newspaper clipping shows the appointment of a recommended postmaster and believes that Alabama will meet and even surpass the “Mississippi Standard.”
