Joseph M. Deuel encloses the proof of a sketch of President Roosevelt that will appear in a book published by Town Topics entitled Fads and Fancies. The book is to be a limited edition highlighting the book makers’ art at the turn of the century. The sketch is tentative and can be changed to suit Roosevelt. Deuel also requests photographs of Roosevelt in his “characteristic attitudes best illustrating him when at leisure.”
