Secretary of the Interior Hitchcock instructs Indian Inspector Jenkins to proceed to Mission Agency, California, to investigate the land needed to relocate the Mission Indians at Warner’s Ranch. Jenkins should also investigate the behavior of Indian Agent Lucius A. Wright, about whom there have been complaints.
