Assistant Treasurer Fish reports on his discussion with Governor Odell in which he found Odell concerned that Senator Platt’s candidate, Harry A. Hanbury, is not “a big enough man” for the position of Shipping Commissioner. However, Fish does not believe that an open break between Odell and Platt is likely.
