Senator Simon is upset because he feels that he is not being consulted in regard to Oregon appointments. Senator Mitchell’s suggestions are being carried out and Senator Simon believes he is being ignored due to attacks on his supposed lack of support for the Republican Party. Simon claims that Mitchell is the one who has shown a lack of previous support.
