Letter from Joseph Wilmer to Theodore Roosevelt

Subject(s): Roosevelt family, Virginia--Rapidan

Joseph Wilmer writes President Roosevelt following a visit by the Roosevelt boys to Wilmer’s farm. Wilmer comments on how well the boys adapt to their surroundings and how enjoyable it is to know “such real boys, old-fashioned, and yet full of intelligence and interest.” The boys are welcome to return any time they need a change, and Wilmer wishes President and Mrs. Roosevelt could get away and join them.
