James Sullivan Clarkson will be able to see President Roosevelt in regard to a presidential appointment for Surveyor of New York as soon as his youngest son is well, perhaps tomorrow evening. Clarkson wants to talk to Roosevelt in regard to the appointment and also to express gratitude for the recommendation.
