The will of President Roosevelt’s uncle, Cornelius Roosevelt, has been settled. Emlen encloses $2,000, for which the President sent him a receipt. President Roosevelt should receive about $2,000 per year during the lives of the Mensings. This settlement should relieve the conflict with Mrs. Motley.
