Paul Dana describes Governor Benjamin B. Odell as “utterly ignorant of the fundamentals of politics” and unfit to govern New York. He requests that President Roosevelt send a White House menu with Roosevelt’s name on it for Mrs. Wedeman, hoping it will “mollify a heart that has hitherto inclined to be hard.”
