Nannie Jackson was the nurse of President Roosevelt’s mother, Martha Bulloch Roosevelt. She is proud to have been associated with the Roosevelt family. Jackson’s nephew, Abraham Hill, is an applicant for surveyor of customs at the Port of Atlanta and she requests Roosevelt’s help with the appointment.
