World War I dominates this issue of the Theodore Roosevelt Association Journal (TRAJ) just as it did much of Theodore Roosevelt’s life after he left the presidency. Two articles examine Quentin Roosevelt’s wartime service, and fifty-four pages from Roosevelt’s 1915 study America and the World War, introduced by TRAJ editor William N. Tilchin, provide insights on Roosevelt’s thoughts on the war and his strategic thinking. Two reports on the work and activities of the Theodore Roosevelt Association (TRA), an excerpt from a Roosevelt letter, a book review essay, and an article on an 1884 political cartoon featuring Roosevelt complete the issue.
