National Park Service Director Mather acknowledges receipt of the resolution passed by the Susanville Chamber of Commerce opposing the return of the Lassen Volcanic National Park to the Forest Reserve. He tells Medford R. Arnold, secretary of the body, that he is hopeful that Congress will appropriate money to allow for work to begin on the park during the next fiscal year.
