Theodore Roosevelt’s secretary forwards a newspaper clipping from East Liverpool, Ohio, opposing Roosevelt in the Ohio primaries. He notes that Borden D. Whiting is having similar trouble with the potters in Trenton, New Jersey, and suggests that Whiting might arrange to respond to the false charges made in the clipping.
