Theodore Roosevelt tells his sister, Corinne Roosevelt Robinson, that Alexander Lambert has been helpful in Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt’s recovery. Yesterday, Mrs. Roosevelt was able to read letters in bed, but then had a painful night. Still, she is slowly recovering and Ethel Derby Roosevelt has been a pillar of strength.
