Theodore Roosevelt’s secretary sends Roosevelt’s regrets to Benjamin Robinson that he is unable to read and comment on the enclosed publication. Roosevelt would feel obligated to do the same for the hundreds of other requests he receives and he is physically unable to accommodate even a small percentage of the many requests, even though he appreciates Robinson’s circumstances.
