Theodore Roosevelt writes to Colonel E. E. Jannicky in response to a newspaper article. Jannicky had announced that Roosevelt had been invited to speak at the forty-seventh regiment armory in Brooklyn, but cancelled due to illness. In this letter, Roosevelt makes clear that he has never been approached for such a speech.
