Theodore Roosevelt writes that he read one of Maurice Francis Egan’s books and had thoroughly enjoyed Egan’s depictions of Saint Francis and the thirteenth century. Roosevelt also expresses his congratulations for Egan’s new grandson and asks for those congratulations to be passed on to the rest of the family.
