Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to Arthur Hamilton Lee

President Roosevelt had written Arthur Hamilton Lee an “exceedingly confidential letter,” which Lee was then meant to destroy. However, recent publications have meant that the letter is unnecessary, so Roosevelt has instructed Henry White to destroy it instead of delivering.
