President Roosevelt thanks Madison Grant for his kind letter and Edmund Giles Loder’s note. Roosevelt remembers Loder as, “a first class big game hunter of the best type,” and hopes to see him while in London. Roosevelt knows so many English people already that he believes letters of introduction will be unnecessary.
