President Roosevelt received Senator Bradley’s letter from Senator Jonathan Bourne. He expresses dismay at the fighting between Republicans in Kentucky. Roosevelt says that he believes that Secretary of War William H. Taft is the strongest candidate and will be nominated on the first ballot.
