President Roosevelt sends Henry L. Stimson, United States Attorney, a brief from Senator William Edgar Borah, who is working on the Brownsville case on behalf of the administration. Borah is “worked up” over a suit that could reinstate a soldier. Roosevelt asks Stimson to look at the brief and consider it.
