President Roosevelt thanks Colonel Durrett for sending a publication by the Filson Club and promises to read it at once. Roosevelt also thanks Durrett more broadly for the letter and was touched by what Durrett wrote. Roosevelt fondly recalls his visit to Louisville, Kentucky where he met with Durrett in person.
