President Roosevelt notifies James J. Hill about the upcoming Conference of Governors on the conservation of natural resources. In addition to the governors of the states, Roosevelt has invited members of Congress, Justices of the Supreme Court, and representatives of various national associations. In recognition of Hill’s experience dealing with transportation and the commercial development of the country, Roosevelt invites Hill to attend.
