President Roosevelt deeply appreciates the gift and letter, and says that while the countries of the western hemisphere may have problems, the best way to solve them is to “work together in a spirit of brotherly comradeship and friendship.” Roosevelt hopes that the Centro Recreativo Ocho Unidos will succeed.
