President Roosevelt informs his son Ted Roosevelt that he doubts there will be war with Japan in the near future, but if there is he will make sure his son has an opportunity to go. Roosevelt notes that he is very busy and does not expect to have any time for a vacation. He hopes that his son’s leg is well, and mentions receiving “the best hunting book” he knows.
