President Roosevelt tells Allen W. Thurman that his feelings were not hurt by a comparison of him to President Andrew Jackson by a third party. He thanks Thurman for sending him clippings from a speech given by his father, Senator Charles H. Thurman of Ohio, and asks for a copy of a speech by Governor Allen.
