President Roosevelt is concerned by John B. Goff’s letter and is sorry he decided to resign. He will discuss Forest Reserve Superintendent W. H. Pearce’s actions with the Department of the Interior and hopes Goff will now have regular customers. Roosevelt sends his regards to Goff’s family.
