President Roosevelt tells his sister Corinne Roosevelt Robinson that he will see if Charles C. Eberhardt can be promoted to a “small consulship.” It would be absurd to appoint him to the consul generalship. Roosevelt also expresses how much he enjoyed their time together during her last visit.
