President Roosevelt assures his friend, William Wingate Sewall, that he will be appointed as Collector of Customs for Aroostook, Maine. However, Roosevelt explains that Congressman Llewellyn Powers is not sure he will be able to appoint Sewall’s nephew postmaster.
