President Roosevelt believes that Paul Joseph Dashiell has made a “very strong case,” and asks him to have lunch next Tuesday at 1:30. He has sent a copy of Dashiell’s letter to Harvard President Charles William Eliot. In a postscript, Roosevelt says that referees should have the power to penalize dirty football plays.
