President Roosevelt sends his sympathies to Grand Army of the Republic Commander-in-Chief John R. King for the recent death of Wilmon Whilldin Blackmar, a former Commander-in-Chief of the G.A.R. Roosevelt was glad to have had Blackmar’s personal friendship, and was shocked to learn of his death.
