President Roosevelt thanks Richard Watson Gilder for sending the Madigan stories from the Century Illustrated Monthly Magazine. The Roosevelt family has been reading them with great enjoyment. Roosevelt also remarks that he enjoyed seeing Gilder’s son at Oyster Bay last summer.
