President Roosevelt and Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt were comforted by William Emlen Roosevelt’s letter. It is sad that Aunt Lizzie is not recovering faster. The pension issue continues to create problems for Roosevelt but he still hopes to reach a satisfactory conclusion.
